Once reserved for artists, the three houses located directly on the Portobelo Bay are full of the color and vibrancy of the region and the energy and vision of the hundreds of artists who have called them home.

History:

The estate has its beginnings in the 1970's when Panamanian photographer Sandra Eleta opened her home in Portobelo to artists as a place to make art and exchange creative ideas. Inspired by the rich history of the region, artists from all over came to Portobelo to collaborate with people in the village on visual and literary arts projects.

Now open to the public, Portobelo Vacation Rentals boasts three houses with the capacity to house up to 23 people, wireless internet, airconditioning, hot water, full and twin beds, private patios, and a breathtaking view of the bay.

Rates:

Rates per house vary depending on the time of year requested and the amount of days. Daily rates range from $175 - $325. Weekly (7 nights) rates range from $1100 - $2045. Splitting the rental cost amongst your friends means the daily rate can be as low as $40 per person!

Additional Services:

We are happy to quote additional services such as Roundtrip Transportation to and from the Airport, Water Taxi to local beaches, Chef and Cleaning Services, Day Tours of Panama City and Trips to the Colon Duty Free Zone.
